{"id":14001,"date":"2019-07-02T07:02:40","date_gmt":"2019-07-02T07:02:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ceo-na.com\/?p=14001"},"modified":"2019-07-02T22:36:09","modified_gmt":"2019-07-02T22:36:09","slug":"major-numbers-food-industry-july-4th","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/servidor-mxigen1.com\/ceona-antiguo\/ceo-life\/food\/major-numbers-food-industry-july-4th\/","title":{"rendered":"America\u2019s 244th birthday"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The 4<sup>th<\/sup> of July is one of the biggest food holidays in the year, and for 2019, Americans are ready for barbecue and\u00a0travel.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>July 4, 2019 marks America\u2019s 244th birthday, and like every year, the date\u00a0is filled with fireworks to commemorate the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4<sup>th<\/sup>, 1776.<\/p>\n<p>This day, an important amount of spending is generated across the nation, especially for the food industry, as 7.1 billion dollars are estimated to be spent just on food, according to a report by the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nrf.com\/media\/press-releases\/more-americans-plan-cookouts-fireworks-and-road-trips-independence-day\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">National Retail Federation (NRF) conducted by Prosper Insight &amp; Analytics.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/nrf.com\/insightsholiday-and-seasonal-trends\/independence-day\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The NRF has also estimated<\/a> that 86% of the total U.S. population plans on celebrating the date, spending a total of $6.7 billion on food items, putting cookouts, BBQs, community celebrations, and road trips or vacation as the most popular activities.<\/p>\n<p>In 2018, according to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nielsen.com\/us\/en.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Nielsen<\/a>, Americans bought a total of 804 million dollars\u2019 worth of beef and 371 million worth in chicken, spending over 6 billion, making the state of Texas the number-one burger and hot-dog market.
