The website Porttechnology.org recently published an estimate of 4.9% growth in container imports for 2017, much higher than the 3.1% re-ported in 2016, while August preliminary figures show the potential for 1.73 million TEU (Twenty Foot Equivalent Unit, a standard container measurement) after 1.69 million TEU in June, the last month with available figures.<\/span><\/p>\n
