Is this good?<\/p>\n<p>We\u00b4ve all heard of someone not getting a response after submitting an application and companies struggling to find the right candidate, meaning that even the best resumes of the most qualified people lose their way through the corporate pipeline.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/louisefron\/2016\/07\/12\/how-a-i-is-about-to-disrupt-corporate-recruiting\/#35490d9d3ba2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">A 2016 Forbes article<\/a> reported 85% of applicants don\u2019t hear back after submitting an application\u2014while 71% of employers claim that they can\u2019t find a candidate with the right skill set, reflecting a clear rupture among corporate recruiting.<\/p>\n<p>More and more, company softwares have been strongly adopting AI tendencies to develop a more dynamic and efficient process of hiring.<\/p>\n<p>These are some examples on how AI is revolutionizing the workplace:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Chatbots | Customer service is moving into the future with chatbots.\u00a0According to<a href=\"http:\/\/adage.com\/article\/digital\/marketers-betting-bots\/309767\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u00a0research by Forrester<\/a>, five percent of companies worldwide were using chatbots regularly by 2016, and 20 percent were piloting them.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/andrewarnold\/2018\/02\/12\/how-chatbots-feed-into-millennials-need-for-instant-gratification\/#174dee9bd388\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u00a0Sixty percent of millennials<\/a>\u00a0already make use of them.<\/li>\n<li>Mya | Mya is an AI created by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.firstjob.com\/\">FirstJob<\/a> to automate up to 75% of the recruiting process\u2014and one day, perhaps the whole thing. Now there is one more hope: Alexa, the Amazon AI assistant.<\/li>\n<li>Beamery | <a href=\"https:\/\/harver.com\/blog\/uses-ai-in-recruitment\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">According to Harver<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/beamery.com\/software\/talent-crm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Beamery<\/a>\u00a0focuses on treating candidates like customers. The company\u2019s candidate relationship platform \u2018proactively builds relationships with passive candidates, reduces hiring cycles and creates a single source of truth for all your hiring data\u2019.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h6><strong>Digital recruitment, a must for any company<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>Digital recruitment \u2013think Monster and LinkedIn\u2013 is routine today. But what if a voice-powered AI assistant like Amazon\u2019s Alexa could find the best candidate for a critical role just by asking it?<\/p>\n<p>By leveraging the power of social networks and data and analytics, enterprising employers already are sourcing, screening and retaining talent more efficiently and effectively, so this scenario is not that far away.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Networked talent sourcing.<\/strong> Oracle\u2019s subsidiary Opower employs such talent analytics to hire about 200 employees annually. And it specifically uses a big data approach to identifying diverse talent most receptive to a job change. As a result, female hires increased to 47% from 40% and minority technical hires jumped to 11% from 1.5%.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Analytic screening and assessment. <\/strong>Google has used people analytics to identify false negatives in rejected candidates based on profiles of successful employees, and it subsequently asks missed candidates to reapply. Xerox uses online tests that have cut attrition by 20%.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Predictive retention.\u00a0<\/strong>A US insurer, for example, used analytics to show that the quality of direct supervisors, recognition and training most determined turnover.
