{"id":18406,"date":"2018-09-25T21:04:12","date_gmt":"2018-09-25T21:04:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ceo-na.com\/?p=18406"},"modified":"2018-12-07T16:26:47","modified_gmt":"2018-12-07T16:26:47","slug":"healthcare-for-all","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/servidor-mxigen1.com\/ceona-antiguo\/ceo-life\/health\/healthcare-for-all\/","title":{"rendered":"Healthcare for all"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em><strong>India plans on launching the world\u2019s biggest healthcare program.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p class=\"ArticleHeader_headline\">As national elections loom in for India, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched the world\u2019s biggest healthcare program on Sunday, aiming to provide free health services to half a billion poor people.<\/p>\n<p>The announcement was well received with doctors and economists, but concerns remain over awareness and\u00a0funding \u2013 and whether the scheme has been rushed out as an election crowd-pleaser.<\/p>\n<p>With plans being announced, those living below the poverty line in India will no longer have to pay a single rupee for private hospital treatments, that, until now, would have pushed such families into crippling debt.<\/p>\n<p>Under Modicare, the name this healthcare program was given, the 100 million lowest income families in the country will receive $7,800 in yearly health insurance for hospital treatments.<\/p>\n<p>According to The Independent, officially titled Ayushman Bharat, Modicare will be provided in two strands. The first is a pledge to revamp 150,000 smaller doctors\u00a0surgeries and community health centres into better-resourced, government-regulated \u201chealth and wellness centres\u201d.
