Apple is having another hardware launch event. Here’s what to expect.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

On Tuesday, October 30th, Apple will host its fourth major media event of this year.<\/p>\n

After the September launch<\/a>, where the new iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR, and\u00a0Apple<\/em>\u00a0Watch Series 4 were presented and not all seemed surprised, it’s time for Apple to do better, and it seems it can.<\/p>\n

Accesible costs and better\u00a0features are promised, let’s see what the tech giant can do.<\/p>\n

New iPads aiming to replace computers<\/h3>\n

It’s no secret that Apple has been trying to transcend traditional computing ways with the iPad, and October’s launch could be a definitive push towards that.<\/p>\n

According to a\u00a0report from Bloomberg<\/a>, this year Apple may ship an iPad Pro with an 11-inch display in addition to the 12.9-inch iPad. iPad Pros would ship with FaceID in lieu of a home button, and have the same gesture-based UI that the iPhone XS has.<\/p>\n

Other\u00a0reports<\/a> suggest that Apple could include\u00a0a USB-C port on the new iPad Pros.<\/p>\n

MacBooks on the way<\/h3>\n

People loved the MacBook Air. Apple knows this and could give it another shot.<\/p>\n

Recent reports from\u00a0well-known Apple analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo<\/a>, suggest that a new MacBook Air-ish<\/em> could include a fingerprint sensor for authentication, something that\u2019s been present on high-end Windows machines for years now. It won\u2019t have a TouchBar, which will set it apart from the 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Pros that come with this option.<\/p>\n

Perhaps the most exciting of the rumors is that this new MacBook Air-ish might have a Retina display.<\/p>\n

Mac Mini back?<\/h3>\n

An upgrade could be in store for the Mac Mini.<\/p>\n

A\u00a0report from\u00a0Bloomberg<\/em>\u00a0in August suggested that this little desktop PC (which ships without a display) will be refreshed this year, and that it will be aimed more at pros.<\/p>\n
