{"id":20101,"date":"2019-06-12T16:10:17","date_gmt":"2019-06-12T16:10:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ceo-na.com\/?p=20101"},"modified":"2019-07-30T17:16:44","modified_gmt":"2019-07-30T17:16:44","slug":"netflix-far-from-home","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/servidor-mxigen1.com\/ceona-antiguo\/business\/innovation-business\/netflix-far-from-home\/","title":{"rendered":"Netflix: Far from home"},"content":{"rendered":"<header class=\"article__header\">\n<p class=\"hl-article article__title\">Netflix&#8217;s subscriber growth has increasingly shifted to international markets in recent years.<\/p>\n<\/header>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<header class=\"article__header\">\n<p class=\"hl-article article__title\">Netflix&#8217;s subscriber growth has shifted away from home, adding\u00a0more subscribers than ever in the fourth quarter of 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Between October and December of 2018, the streaming service\u00a0surpassed its growth targets by adding 11.4 million subscribers, closing down on a total of\u00a0148.5 million, including those on a free trial.<\/p>\n<p>However, interestingly, its boost came from international subscribers, as it aded little over 9 million\u00a0subscribers internationally and just 2.1 million on its home turf.<\/p>\n<\/header>\n<header><\/header>\n<header class=\"article__header\">This makes international customers now account for 60% of the company\u2019s subscriber base, up from just 40% three years ago.\u00a0<\/header>\n<header><\/header>\n<footer class=\"article__meta\">\n<div class=\"article__editor\">This is all a remarkable achievement for a company that was only in the U.S. before 2010, and in only 50 countries by 2015.<\/div>\n<\/footer>\n<h2>The key to success<\/h2>\n<p>[ihc-hide-content ihc_mb_type=&#8221;show&#8221;
