{"id":20434,"date":"2019-05-20T10:00:30","date_gmt":"2019-05-20T10:00:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ceo-na.com\/?p=20434"},"modified":"2019-05-20T15:25:05","modified_gmt":"2019-05-20T15:25:05","slug":"u-s-health-spending","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/servidor-mxigen1.com\/ceona-antiguo\/news\/u-s-health-spending\/","title":{"rendered":"<U.S. health spending>"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>US health spending is expected to grow 5.5% every year over the next decade.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>U.S. health spending is expected to\u00a0reach nearly $6 trillion by 2027 as more people become eligible for Medicare, according to a government health agency.<\/p>\n<p>Rising income levels, better employment rate and more people enrolling for Medicare will cause healthcare spending to rise to 19.4% of the U.S. economy by 2027, the Centers for Medicare &amp; Medicaid Services (CMS) said.<\/p>\n<p>In 2017, healthcare spending accounted for 17.9% of the country\u2019s gross domestic product.
