{"id":23764,"date":"2019-11-20T16:56:23","date_gmt":"2019-11-20T16:56:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ceo-na.com\/?p=23764"},"modified":"2019-11-20T17:00:43","modified_gmt":"2019-11-20T17:00:43","slug":"tolko-industries-is-burning-its-last-wood","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/servidor-mxigen1.com\/ceona-antiguo\/opinion\/tolko-industries-is-burning-its-last-wood\/","title":{"rendered":"Tolko Industries is burning its last wood"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em><strong>British Columbia wood products company Tolko Industries makes announcement that will affect 125 employees.<\/strong><\/em><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>First, Tolko Industries announced a curtailment, then the closure of a mill. \u201cThe mill has always had an excellent team that produced a highly regarded quality stud for North American and export markets,&#8221; they detailed in a statement. &#8220;It will always stand as an example of what can be accomplished when ingenuity and know-how come together for a common purpose.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The company says ongoing low lumber prices and high log costs have forced it to schedule a two-week shutdown affecting all its B.C. operations.
