{"id":25032,"date":"2020-02-24T10:00:23","date_gmt":"2020-02-24T10:00:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ceo-na.com\/?p=25032"},"modified":"2020-02-24T16:08:52","modified_gmt":"2020-02-24T16:08:52","slug":"hsbc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/servidor-mxigen1.com\/ceona-antiguo\/uncategorized\/hsbc\/","title":{"rendered":"<HSBC>"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"LC20lb DKV0Md\">HSBC plans to cut\u00a035,000\u00a0jobs as profits plunge.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>HSBC,\u00a0one of the largest\u00a0banking\u00a0and financial services institutions in the world, is facing a radical downsizing of its operations in Europe and the US.<\/p>\n<p>As it adjusts for the risks, the London-based bank <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hsbc.com\/media\/media-releases\/2020\/hsbc-holdings-plc-annual-results-2019\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said through a statement<\/a> it aims to cut annual costs by $4.5bn and shed $100bn of assets adjusted for risk by the end of 2022 as it attempts its most drastic overhaul since the financial crisis in an attempt to\u00a0kick-start its stuttering business.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ft.com\/content\/c0095f40-5203-11ea-90ad-25e377c0ee1f\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">According to the Financial Times<\/a>, HSBC said it expected the overhaul to lead to about $6bn in restructuring costs and $1.2bn of costs related to disposals, the majority of which would fall this year and next.
