{"id":27499,"date":"2020-09-12T08:00:07","date_gmt":"2020-09-12T08:00:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ceo-na.com\/?p=27499"},"modified":"2020-09-11T15:11:00","modified_gmt":"2020-09-11T15:11:00","slug":"historic-earnings-for-zoom","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/servidor-mxigen1.com\/ceona-antiguo\/news\/historic-earnings-for-zoom\/","title":{"rendered":"<Historic earnings for Zoom>"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Zoom\u2019s market cap now stands at more than $129 billion.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Zoom Video Communications\u00a0reported its\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/investors.zoom.us\/news-releases\/news-release-details\/zoom-reports-second-quarter-results-fiscal-year-2021\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">fiscal second-quarter earnings<\/a>\u00a0after a Zoom Video Webinar for investors on\u00a0August 31 where the company\u2019s financial results and business highlights were discussed, and saw that their results were better than analysts had expected after\u00a0the coronavirus pandemic\u00a0led officials to direct people to stay home around the world and become more dependent of\u00a0\u00a0Zoom\u2019s video-calling software for business.<\/p>\n<p>Amid the pandemic, the platform for video-conferencing raised its full-year guidance significantly as shares rose as much as 40% completing $663.5 million, up 355% year-over-year.\u00a0Net cash provided by operating activities was\u00a0$401.3\u00a0million for the quarter, compared to\u00a0$31.2\u00a0million in the second quarter of fiscal year 2020. Free cash flow was\u00a0$373.4\u00a0million, compared to\u00a0$17.1\u00a0million in the second quarter of fiscal year 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Zoom founder and CEO,\u00a0Eric S. Yuan said:\u00a0\u201cOrganizations are shifting from addressing their immediate business continuity needs to supporting a future of working anywhere, learning anywhere, and connecting anywhere on Zoom&#8217;s video-first platform. At Zoom, we strive to deliver a world-class, frictionless, and secure communication experience for our customers across locations, devices, and use cases.
