{"id":27936,"date":"2020-11-09T08:00:02","date_gmt":"2020-11-09T08:00:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ceo-na.com\/?p=27936"},"modified":"2020-11-06T20:13:03","modified_gmt":"2020-11-06T20:13:03","slug":"toilet-paper-sales-plunge","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/servidor-mxigen1.com\/ceona-antiguo\/news\/toilet-paper-sales-plunge\/","title":{"rendered":"<Toilet paper sales plunge>"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Remote work has heavily hit office toilet paper sales.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>As companies ask themselves whether big rent bills are justifiable and face the months-long drag of\u00a0corporate employees working from home until at least next summer or permanently, office-focused businesses like Kimberly-Clark\u2019s K-C Professional are increasingly hurting, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2020-10-22\/prolonged-office-shutdown-creates-a-headache-for-kimberly-clark?sref=KkPzpZvz\">Bloomberg reports<\/a>, as sales of commercial tissue-paper rolls and toilet-seat covers for the workplace, which makes up about 15% of the company\u2019s sales, plunged last quarter, the company reported.\u00a0Kimberly-Clark shares fell 6.9% to $138.09 at the close in New York, the biggest decline since March 12.
