{"id":29857,"date":"2021-04-07T11:02:15","date_gmt":"2021-04-07T16:02:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ceo-na.com\/?p=29857"},"modified":"2021-04-07T11:02:20","modified_gmt":"2021-04-07T16:02:20","slug":"nike-wins-halt-to-sale-of-satan-shoes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/servidor-mxigen1.com\/ceona-antiguo\/news\/nike-wins-halt-to-sale-of-satan-shoes\/","title":{"rendered":"Nike wins halt to sale of \u2018Satan shoes\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>A federal judge <\/strong><strong>has<\/strong><strong> sided with Nike in ordering a Brooklyn company to temporarily <\/strong><strong>halt<\/strong><strong> further sales of <\/strong><strong>so-called <\/strong><strong>\u201cSatan Shoes\u201d it produced in collaboration with the rapper Lil Nas X.<\/strong><\/p><p>U.S. District Judge Eric Komitee in Brooklyn made the ruling Thursday, three days after Nike sued MSCHF Product Studio, claiming that the black-and-red, devil-themed sneakers, which carry the iconic Nike \u201cswoosh\u201d logo, violated its trademarks.<\/p><p>The shoes are customized versions of Nike\u2019s Air Max 97 sneakers printed with \u201cLuke 10:18,\u201d a biblical passage referring to Satan\u2019s fall from heaven. As part of the gimmick, the manufacturer claimed each pair contains one drop of human blood in the midsoles.<strong><\/strong><\/p><p>Only 666 pairs, costing $1,018 each, were made.
